BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Saquib’s research program integrates computational modeling, experimental mechanics, and data-driven approaches to study process-structure-property relationships in advanced materials, with particular emphasis on polymer composites. His work spans finite element analysis, fatigue and impact mechanics, damage characterization, physics informed machine learning for materials, and AI-enabled microstructure reconstruction and digital twins. He has published in leading peer-reviewed journals including Composites Part A, Polymers, and the Journal of Applied Mechanics, and has presented his research at national and international conferences. Dr. Saquib is a recipient of the prestigious American Society of Composites (ASC) PhD Scholarship and podium presentation award at the SAMPE Research Symposium.
