Dr. Terry Goforth is a Professor of Engineering Physics at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). She specializes in Cosmology and Atomic Physics.

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Goforth has been teaching at SWOSU since 1989. She is a SWOSU alumni, having received her Bachelor’s degree from SWOSU in 1981. She went on to receive her PhD from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. Much of her research involves solar eclipse safety and education. She also oversees other independent student-led research projects. She is the acting coordinator of the Engineering Physics division and oversees most of the incoming Engineering Physics majors before they are assigned an advisor.
